  TO BE ANNOUNCED

J.V.

1/10/10 - JV in a close loss to Bethpage 2-5

Though the team was knocked around a bit by the Bethpage Varsity team, the game was closer than the score. Eric Lebedin tied the score at 2 half way through the 3rd period. The Eagles went ahead 3-2 with 3 minutes left in the game. The others were empty netters.

1/ 3/10 - East Williston

12/26/09 - JV Lighthouse Cup squad selections announced.

The team’s leading scorer, Eleanor Haines, along with Dan McCabe and David Melnyk were selected to represent CSH JV in the Lighthouse Cup JV game vs. Suffolk in the Nassau Coliseum on Presidents’ Day 1/18/10 at 11:00 AM.

12/4/09 - Oceanside moves up to Varsity Michelino Division and is replaced by Bellmore-Merrick B.

11/18/09 - Depleted JV squad absorbs loss by East Williston  1-10

One could say, “What goes around, comes around” as the previous match between these two teams was a 7-0 win for the Seahawks.  The squad was severely shorthanded due to several factors... travel hockey conflicts, illness, injury and the Varsity season is underway so some players have moved up.  It should also be noted that the Seahawks JV squad is playing in a Varsity “B” division due to lack of JV teams in Nassau County. Though East Williston is a JV squad some of Varsity “B” teams clearly belong in the Varsity division.  This team will learn hard and fast this season.  Eleanor Haines had the lone goal for CSH.
